The Humanities Laboratory

The Humanities Laboratory provides support in research on culture, communication and cognition with a humanistic profile, while also offering attractive opportunities for interaction with the natural sciences, medicine and engineering. New constellations of young researchers can formulate research questions for the future, and collaborate in the complicated task of understanding (humanities), explaining (the natural sciences) and improving (engineering) the conditions of humankind as a communicating and learning species.

The Humanities Laboratory is a joint resource for the subject areas of languages and literature, history and philosophy, and theology within the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology.
