Ming Gao var universitetets mest produktiva författare med tio artiklar om Kina, Japan och Sydkorea som tillsammans nådde 343 000 läsare. Hans artikel om barnsexturism i Asien blev årets mest lästa från hela universitetet med 146 000 läsningar – den återpublicerades bland annat av japanska Newsweek. Efter honom följer Tabita Rosendal som, förutom en artikel tillsammans med Ming Gao, också skrev om USA:s påtryckningar mot Panama att lämna Kinas Belt and Road Initiative (55 000 läsare). Youngeun Koo skrev om Sydkoreas adoptionsskandal (28 000 läsare).
Lunds universitet hade totalt sett ett rekordår på The Conversation under 2025. Universitetets forskare publicerade 76 artiklar som tillsammans nådde 1,1 miljoner läsningar. Totalt nådde alla universitetets artiklar – inklusive äldre artiklar som fortsätter att läsas – 1,5 miljoner läsare under året. Humanistiska och teologiska fakulteterna var universitetets mest aktiva med 22 artiklar.
Half a Million Views on The Conversation for the Faculty of Humanities and Theology
The Faculties of Humanities and Theology published 22 articles on The Conversation during 2025, reaching 524,000 readers – more than any other faculty at the university.
Ming Gao's article on child sex tourism in Asia became the university's most-read, with 146,000 views. Ming Gao was the university's most productive author, with ten articles about China, Japan and South Korea, which together reached 343,000 readers. His article on child sex tourism in Asia was the most read from the entire university that year, with 146,000 reads – it was republished, among others, by Japanese Newsweek. In total, Lund University had a record year on The Conversation in 2025. The university's researchers published 76 articles, which together reached 1.1 million reads. In total, all the university's articles – including older articles that continue to be read – reached 1.45 million readers during the year. The Faculties of Humanities and Theology were the most active at the university, with 22 articles.
