The course deals with the significance of technology in Swedish culture and society during the period from 1800 to 2000.
In this course, you will learn about the transformation of agricultural production and the development of infrastructure for transport, communications and power transmission. You will analyse how technological development contributed to Sweden's transformation from a poor country into an industrialised, democratic society with a well-developed welfare state.
