Arrival in Lund
Most international students arrive in Lund on Arrival Day, about two weeks before the start of the semester. To make your arrival as smooth and welcoming as possible, our international mentors will meet you at Copenhagen airport and at the railway station in Lund to take you to the Arrival Day venue during Arrival Day.
All international students are recommended to arrive in Lund on the two official Arrival Days.
- Autumn 2020 Arrival Days
Exchange students: Monday 17 August, 09:00–19:00, Medicon Village, Scheelevägen 2
Degree students: Tuesday 18 August, 09:00–19:00, Medicon Village, Scheelevägen 2
- Spring 2021 Arrival Day: Monday 11 January, 09:00–19:00, place TBA
Another reason to come to Lund on Arrival Day is that you will be able to participate in the Orientation Weeks from the start.
Lund University offers a short SUSA 'Swedish in a nutshell' course, designed especially for exchange students to receive an introduction to the Swedish language, during the orientation weeks, before the regular classes start. Students can choose to sit the exam held at the end of the course, which results in 3 ECTS credits, if successfully completed.

General Information Meeting and Pre-Registration Day
Do not to miss the General Information Meeting and the obligatory Pre-Registration Day with your Coordinators.
At the General Information Meeting you will receive a lot of useful and practical information from the International Student Mobility Group of Lund University. On the Pre-Registration at your Faculty you will receive information about studies and registration by your coordinators; you will also be able to book a private meeting with your coordinator to get your paperwork signed, to discuss your choice of courses for the coming semester, etc.
