I hold a PhD in sociology. Since the spring 2023, I have been employed as a postdoctoral researcher in Human Rights studies, and affiliated with Université Paris Nanterre. My current project involves an archival study of "movement texts" in the Haitian Revolution, which serve as a basis for an intervention into ongoing debates about whether this revolution should be granted a central status in the history of human rights.

My research interests include critique of right, the history and contemporary status of human rights, Marxist theory, social movements, revolution theory, and methodological issues relating to ideology critique. I have taught sociology at both the undergraduate and graduate levels to students in sociology, psychology and pedagogy, as well as providing instruction on the history and theory of science to students in the natural sciences.

I am a member of the editorial board for the journal Röda rummet, as well as the editorial committee for the journal Fronesis.

In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
