Lecturer in Human Rights Studies and associate professor in Practical Philosophy. My research is mainly about justice issues related to climate change and climate policy. My motivation is to understand how a just transition to a fossil-free future can be achieved. I have investigated this both in the field of climate ethics and in interdisciplinary collaborations, using both empirical and philosophical methods. In recent years, I have moved towards more concrete and local justice issues related to climate policies, e.g. investigating the moral basis for perceived injustices in relation to wind power development and protests against high fuel prices. I also have general interests in political philosophy, such as intergenerational justice, participatory methods in normative theory, and human rights.

I am currently a co-investigator in two research projects and the principal investigator of a third project. All of these deal with a just transition to a fossil free future in different ways.
