I have a PhDin political science from Lund University. I am currently a researcher in theproject Beyond Truth and Lies: Conspiracy Theories, Post-Truth, and theConditions of Public Debate. My present research concerns how authoritative truth statements are constructed in conspiracy theories, and the relationbetween liberal democracy and political conspiracy theories.

I have previously done research on environmental political theory, sustainability and the history of political thought, with a particular focus on the Anthropocene – the so-called geological epoch of man – and the relation between humans and nature. In my dissertation, I delineated a dependency of modern democratic political order on a certain conceptualisation of humans and nature, and on their relation.

I also havea particular interest in social scientific methodology and how methodologicalapproaches and choices shape research results.
