My primary research interests are within screen production and location studies with a focus on the Nordic and the Arctic region. My current research project studies Scandinavian runaway screen production.

Among other things, I have published on Arctic and Nordic screen production, Greenlandic film, literature, location work, transnational collaboration, and runaway production.

I defended my PhD dissertation on inernational and local screen production in and about Greenland in December 2023 at University of Copenhagen.

I have taught broadly within film and media studies in both theoretical and historical subjects.
