I am a postdoctoral researcher in Arabic literary studies.

I am currently conducting the research project "Bound in Exile," which explores Arabic literature published by migrant publishers in Sweden. By mapping Arabic migration literature and analyzing historical, social, and cultural contexts, I aim to understand the production, dissemination, and reception of this literature in a Swedish context.

My research interests range from classical to modern Arabic literature, and I explore questions about literarity, continuity, and intertextuality. I have a particular interest in authors and works on the margins that challenge ideas about canon and what constitutes Arabic literature. I welcome discussions and collaborations in this field and look forward to contributing to the academic and cultural dialogue.
