My major interest is in exploring the mind and its process as a cognitive system. I think cognition is the convergence point of intelligence and behavior so to have a complete understanding of how it happens, it is Necessary to take a look at bothering paths. The first leads to study the functions of nervous system like firing neurons in human or other animals and overpriced machines (computers, robots) and the second relates to study the behavior through direct observation. Thus to this meaning, cognitive science could be Considered as an interdisciplinary field with contributors from various fields such as Psychology, Neuroscience, Philosophy of Mind and Biology.
My current study is about Action Perception and how an action can be-recognized and categorized. This research is being doing in human robot interaction and the goal is to make the robot Capable of perceiving human's action through observation.
