The course is an introduction to the ideas that were involved in the process of globalization but also to the ideas that globalization creates. The content of the course includes the history of ideas of communication technologies from the print to the digital age. Some of the studied issues are the meeting of different cultures in different times in connection with the development of travelling and of communication.
