Field studies abroad
Minor Field Studies
Are you going to write a Bachelor's or Master's thesis? If so, then apply for an MFS scholarship. Minor Field Studies (MFS) is a programme funded by Sida, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, that aims to give students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of developing countries and development issues.
The MFS programme gives you the opportunity to travel for at least eight consecutive weeks to a developing country to collect material for a Bachelor's or Master's thesis. As an MFS student, you will receive a scholarship of SEK 27,000 to cover some of the costs of your time abroad.
Crafoord Foundation
You can apply for the Crafoord Foundation travel grant to countries outside of the EU to carry out data collection for your degree project. To be eligible for the grant, you must have at least 180 credits at the time of departure, of which at least 60 credits must be at Lund University.
European Solidarity Corps
The European Solidarity Corps is an initiative of the European Commission to enable more young people to help in society. The programme offers young people the opportunity to volunteer or create their own solidarity projects, both at home and abroad.
