Nominating committee
Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology
Time to nominate Candidates for the next Term of Office!
The HT Faculties Nomination Committee has begun work on the forthcoming Term of Office, 2027–2029. The Nomination Committee's task is to submit proposals to the Dean, Vice-Deans and representatives of academics and other staff to the Faculty Board before the elections in September. The Nomination Committee will also propose two external members to the Faculty Board, to be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor. The Nomination Committee also proposes members (Academic Representatives) in the Faculties’ Committees (for Research, Postgraduate Education and Undergraduate Education), the Academic Appointments Board and The Committee for Educational Development, who are appointed by the Faculty Board.
The Nomination Committee gratefully accepts nominations for these positions. Those with the right to nominate candidates are employees (except Doctoral students) with at least half-time, permanent or temporary employment, consisting of at least two consecutive years.
The nominations should be sent to the Nomination Committee’s Secretary – Cecilia Bergsten, HT Faculty Office, Internal Post Code 30, or cecilia.bergstenkansliht.luse, and must be received no later than Friday, February 13. The proposal must state for which position it is intended for, but the proposed candidate does not need to be asked beforehand. It is also possible to propose oneself.
