Based on previous courses, this course will aim to broaden your knowledge of cognition, cognitive processes and systems within and between individuals; between groups; between people and their physical, social, and cultural environment, etc. The course covers various classical texts and theories in cognitive science. An important aim of this course – the last before your master project – is to enhance your awareness of different perspectives on cognitive science problems. To some extent, the course also looks back at some of the introductory course data, which will provide an opportunity to reflect on your own learning.
