The course deals with the fundamental aspects of language learning, second language didactics, grammar, phonetics and cultural patterns considered primarily from a second language perspective. Students are expected to write a short scholarly assignment.

To be eligible for the course requires the Standard Eligibility for study at universities and university colleges in Sweden and Swedish B.
