Course
Course 30 credits • CÖSM50
Turn your knowledge into experience. With this internship course in Asian Studies, you will gain hands-on skills, build workplace connections, and explore how academic insights work in real life.
This course gives you the chance to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Through an internship of at least 16 weeks, you apply your academic knowledge in a professional setting, either in Sweden or abroad.
If you have studied Asian Studies before, you will put your expertise into practice while developing new skills. If your background is in other areas of the humanities or social sciences, the course lets you expand your understanding of Asia-related issues through workplace learning.
You will work with tasks that connect directly to Asian Studies and produce a portfolio that documents your contributions. Drawing on this, you will write a reflective essay that links your practical work to academic theory. Together, these elements help you strengthen your skills, test your knowledge, and prepare for future opportunities.
