This course is intended for beginners in Ukrainian.
In this course, you will learn to understand and explain the content of simplified Ukrainian texts at CEFR A1 level. You will be introduced to the Ukrainian alphabet and sound system, and develop foundational skills in reading, pronunciation, and basic grammar. Through simple texts and dialogues, you will build essential communicative abilities in Ukrainian and gain familiarity with elementary grammatical structures.
The course consists of basic grammar, which is applied in speech and writing. It focuses on the way Ukrainian is spoken in everyday situations, with clear pronunciation for good comprehension. You will also review, discuss, and critically reflect on language norms.
