Koji Tachibana (Chiba University, Japan), The space humanities in Japan and its prospects

The Japanese space agency (JAXA) has constantly collaborated with scholars in the field of humanities. In this talk, I will review the history of these collaborations, some achievements, and challenges. I will then show some prospects of space humanities in Japan and its possible significance in the context of global space ethics
